New Year, New You

As we move into a new year (and a new decade), many of us think about making resolutions.  Did you know you need to do something for at least 66 days for it to become a habit? Some resolutions may include eating healthier, getting more exercise, being kinder, listening more, making more time for family, meditating daily, things like that. The author Harvey Mackay said you need to visualize personal goals, “if you can’t imagine it, you can’t ever do it.”


Several of our ANI keynote speakers have shared the benefits of positive affirmations, Here are some to get you started:

I’m honest

I’m loved

I’m unique

I’m reliable

I’m funny

I’m brave

I’m inspirational

I stand up for what’s important to me

I have survived 100% of my worst days

I am grateful for the moment, good or bad


Along with your 2020 resolutions, I challenge you to make your own list of positive affirmations, put them in an obvious place and recite them daily.  Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2020!
