Things to Be Thankful For

posted on

As we enter anotehr holiday season; it is also a time for reflection and thinking of the abundance of things to be thankful for. There are many reasons to feel truly blessed.

We are thankful for our team at the national office of wonderfully gifted people who embrace our culture of quality service and teamwork in everything we do at AAHAM. They are at the cornerstone of our ability to respond to members’ needs and requests.

We are thankful for the opportunity to work with the talented volunteers who serve on our Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and as Chairs. They give so much time and energy to serve and are passionate about their roles on behalf of our membership and making contributions to AAHAM for the betterment of our members.

Serving the many members of AAHAM is truly a joy. We have the opportunity to know many personally and speak with many more but there are others at the local chapter level and we may not have this opportunity. We value each member and that they have chosen to be involved as a volunteer and a member with AAHAM. Membership is vital in continuing the mission of the organization. “It takes a village”, and it takes members to make an organization.

AAHAM, like many industries and professional organizations offers certification and it’s very rewarding to see our members continue to value the prestigious certifications that AAHAM offers and that they work very hard to obtain. Our members’ success is a testament to the value of AAHAM’s certification program.   When we hear that someone’s career was positively impacted by their AAHAM certification, we are gratified having the AAHAM certification programs once again validated as to their importance.

Similarly, it’s very gratifying to see our members take advantage of the webinars offered throughout the year. There are volunteers surfacing speakers and coordinating these educational opportunities.

We strive to offer programs for our members that are meaningful and which help our members achieve their goals. Whether it’s the AAHAM ANI or our annual Legislative Day; we are thankful for these opportunities that bring our members together for education, networking, awareness building, and simply for fun.

Our national office team and I join together to offer our sincerest best wishes to every one of our AAHAM membership, our AAHAM friends and to you and your family for a happy holiday season!
